My Top 10 SRMTHFG Episodes

What kind of a fan would I be if I didn't post up my favourite episodes of this classic show? Here are the Top 10 Episodes from my most beloved childhood show of all time.

10: The Savage Lands Both Parts- HEY! If Netbug009 can do it, so can I! The reason I'm cheating like this? It's because I couldn't pick a part from the two episodes. In Part 1 we got the whole Sparx VS Gibson for leadership (BTW, I'd pick Sparx any day) and Antauri's AWESOME comeback as the Silver Monkey. In Part 2, we met Valina and saw what she had in store for the show . . . even if it was just getting thrown into some [urple goop. Also, bonus points for Jinmay joining the team!

9: Snowbound- This was the only episode completely focused on Nova, unless if you count Wormhole which she was in for less than ten minutes. But what I loved about this episode is that I learned so much about Nova's past and her temper control issues. I really felt she became less of a "tag along who's only there for the girl power and romance" character in this episode. And I can't be the only one who can now imagine a load of Spova keeping warm after this!

8: Versus Chiro- Okay, let's forget the hilarious Spova "two saves in one day" moments. What else is it about this episode that I love? Well the hilarious sense of mystery had me laughing throughout every minute. Chiro's head exploding- PRICELESS! And don't get me STARTED on how hard I laughed at Chira and Chiru. That was just too genius and epic!

7: Circus of Ooze- Like Versus Chiro, what is there in this episode to like apart from the adorable Spova scenes? Well there's the two most serious monkeys Antauri and Gibson chowing down on sugary junk food before things get hilariously violent. You've got some seriously creepy clowns and the Ringmaster attacking Chiro and turning him into a clown. You've got the monkeys making a fool of themselves performing in the circus, not to mention really creative circus-related weapons Otto fufulling his dreams of performing in the circus.

6: A Ghost In The Machinder- Despite spending ages screaming at the Super Robot for NOT waiting three more seconds, this episode really had me on the edge of my seat. If you saw Netbug009's description of this, then I don't have much to say. But if you HAVEN'T . . . well this really gave me a sense of helplessness and the Probe upped the creep factor a LOT! But what REALLY takes the cake here is the fact that the Super Robot had it's own mind. That was amazing. Bonus points for the mysterious ending!

5: Night Of Fear- This was one of the episodes that showed us why SRMTHFG was such a great show. You've got some great action, hilarious comedy (STUPID GIBSON! ), clams with feet, an adorable baby Chiro, the overdramatic Mandarin, Antauri losing control with Spova to spare! I mean, that episode REALLY showed their trust in one another, even if Sparx DOES get on Nova's last nerve from time to time!

4: I Chiro- I have no words to describe the beauty and shock of this episode. But the creep factor, amazing animation, unforgettable soundtrack really tied everything together. And . . . *sigh* I actually had a litle trouble finding a picture for this episode because Antauri's sacrifice really made me break down. Seriously, that was just heartbreaking.

3: Soul of Evil- This is the prime example of why Season 5 should NOT have been cancelled. WHY THE CLIFFHANGER, DISNEY?! But despite this, Soul of Evil is one of my most favourite SRMTHFG episodes of all time. Just when I thought nothing could top Antauri's death . . . well . . . Sparx fangirls, we all know what happened. And in this episode (bring out the sugar) HE GETS TURNED GOOD AGAIN! But not only that . . . SPOVA FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINALLYYYYYYYYY BECAME CANON!! Also, Valina FINALLY GOT KILLED! Seriously, that witch was pretty much useless. But this episode is one of the more special episodes to me in terms of storyline, action and . . . well . . . SPOVA!

2: Evil Ages- Okay, if someone knows a word better than "hilarious" then please let me know because this episode is just too priceless. In fact, I cry with laughter every time I laugh it. From the battle against SOFT TOYS to Gibson and Otto being accused of witchcraft, to Chiro and Nova being chased around like crazy by dinosaurs. Also, thumbs up for some HILARIOUS facial expressions from the monkeys. And admit it, if you're a Sparx fangirl, that cowboy costume had you squealing till your throat was beyond sore. I MEAN . . . NO WORDS, JUST TOO SPARKY SEXY! SEXY I TELL YOU! AHHHHHH-

1: Wormhole- Knowing me, you probably saw this one coming, didn't you? This is a HARCORE Spova episode and I love it so much, it actually inspired me to write my first SRMTHFG FanFiction, which was pretty crap by the way. But seriously, the sense of urgency of Sparx to find Nova was so heartwarming and so moving. It is such a big episode for them, you know? And just when you thought it couldn't get worse, the team got swallowed by th Worm. Now THAT was really unexpected. Not to mention that I really must thank the producers for teaching me some new science facts! Also can I just say that I felt that this episode featured some really good voice acting from Corey Feldman (Sparx)? Watch the episode and listen to him during the scene when Sparx tries to save Nova from falling. And THIS is why Corey Feldman should use his voice for acting, not singing!
